Regular Giving - Become a Heart Saver

Heart Savers are donors who have made the commitment to making monthly gift donations towards the life-saving work of the Heart Foundation.

2. Regular Giving - Become a Heart Saver

Why is regular giving so important

Regular donation income is vital to the work of the Heart Foundation. It enables us to fund with certainty, long term research programmes which will help New Zealanders who are suffering from or at risk of heart disease.

Each year we are only able to support a fraction of the research applications we receive. The more supporters who join our heart savers programme will enable us to fund more deserving research proposals and training fellowships.  Guaranteed regular income for the Heart Foundations also means that we can commit to other work including community awareness and education programmes to reduce the risk and impact of heart disease on individuals and their families.

How regular giving works

Regular giving to our Heart Savers programme is safe and easy. Each month, a regular amount is automatically deducted from your credit card or bank account. You choose how much to give, and you can increase or decrease the amount, or even cancel your payment, at any time.

Throughout the year we will keep you up to date with the work of the Heart Foundation and at the end of the financial year you will receive a statement detailing your payments, which you can use to complete your tax return.

You can contact us at any time to discuss your regular gifts by calling us toll-free on 0800 830 100.
