The 2011 adidas Auckland Marathon is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever and we are hoping for a record number of Heart Racers to take part in New Zealand's premier road race. Whether this is your first time walking 5km or you are a seasoned marathon veteran, encouraging your family and mates to sponsor you is not only a great motivator but will make a positive difference to the country's heart health.

This year our Heart Racers taking part in the adidas Auckland Marathon have some extra incentives from us:

• raise $500 or more by Monday 31 October and receive a FREE pair of aidas sports glasses (valued at $255) *
• receive training tips to help with your event day preparations from our friends at UNITEC
• help you on your way with sound nutrition advice from the Heart Foundation
• post-run massage at the Heart Foundation tent (and maybe a bite to eat too!)
