Deciding to stop smoking is a choice that is 'much easier said than done'. However, it is the single most important decision that you can do for your health and your heart.
Here are some ideas/tips that will help you in achieving your goal to stop smoking:
Talk to someone who can help you stop. This can be a friend or family member or health worker
Remove all tobacco products from the home and work areas, including ashtrays, etc.
Understand what makes you want to smoke and plan how you will deal with the 'urge' when the situation arises
Reward yourself for your successes
When things get hard for you, read the list of why you want to stop and try again.
And remember... 'If at first you don’t succeed...try...try...and try again!'
