The foods we choose affect our risk of heart disease. Although we need a small amount of fat, sugar and salt in our diets, too much can lead to high cholesterol, heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity.
The nutrition courses offered by Pacific Heartbeat aim to empower Pacific communities make healthier food choices for their families and communities.
