Completing Food for Thought completes four out of the five modules required to achieve your Heart Start Chart. Signing up to Heart Start your school will work with a Heart Foundation Health Promotion Co-ordinator to provide your school with the resources and support needed to complete the programme. Your school will receive a set of curriculum linked resources to help you complete your chosen modules.
Your School may be already underway with an edible garden or a breakfast club. Heart Start will allow you to gain recognition for your existing work and build on these healthy changes. Your school will have 12 months to complete the programme and during that year you will have access to our fun Heart Foundation events and new resources. Remember your school will also have the option of completing the Food for Thought programme to complete your Heart Start chart.
Once you have completed your Heart Start Chart, this will be awarded in a special assembly often gaining positive publicity for the school.
