Living with SCAD or Takotsubo?

We know that people who have received these diagnoses may feel isolated & anxious. The Heart Foundation is here to support by hosting a FREE information day in Auckland.

Guest speakers will include Dr Jocelyn Benatar, Senior Medical Officer and Liz Painter, Psychologist from Auckland Hospital.

The speakers will discuss understanding and managing spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) or Takotsubo, medical treatments, exercise and how to keep well.

You will have the opportunity to share your own experiences and ask questions.

The day is aimed at helping you understand your heart diagnosis and to provide information and support. It is also a good opportunity for you to meet others with the same diagnosis. We look forward to seeing you.

Morning tea and light lunch provided.
