Jump Rope For Heart
After 31 years, the Heart Foundation is retiring the Jump Rope For Heart programme.
The decision to retire the programme was a difficult one, and is a result of many changes occurring across the education and physical activity landscape in New Zealand.
While Jump Rope For Heart will no longer be available, the Heart Foundation remains committed to helping Kiwi kids to keep their hearts healthy through our range of existing programmes and activities which include: Fuelled4life, Healthy Heart Award, Heart Start, Heart Schools and Foodstuffs Food for Thought.
Over the 31 years that Jump Rope For Heart ran, you all have achieved a lot and should be proud. The programme not only supported more children to be active, it also provided a fundraising opportunity to raise funds for the school and support the Heart Foundation.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the thousands of schools, early learning services, teachers, kids, parents and whanau who have supported the programme. Your contribution to the Heart Foundation has helped us to educate 2.5 million kiwi children to be active and look after their hearts.
