Banana bread

Here's a low sugar banana bread recipe with some added goodness. You'll love it!

Method

  1. Heat oven to 180C
  2. Line a loaf tin with baking paper
  3. In a mixing bowl mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth
  4. Mix together the mashed banana, eggs, oil and milk
  5. Sift in flour and baking powder and mix well
  6. Pour mixture into the loaf tin and bake for approximately 1 hour or until a skewer is inserted into the centre comes out clean
  7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before removing from the tin

Alternatives

  • You can also add 1/2 cup of walnuts if desired.
  • If you don't have both types of flour use whatever type is in your cupboard.
