Superb sausage rolls
Our new and improved sausage roll recipe, now even better than before and easier to make.

Method
- Heat oven to 175°C
- Heat canola oil in a frying pan and gently sauté onion until soft
- Add garlic and sauté for one minute then remove from heat
- Refrigerate until cold
- In food processor blend meat with lemon zest, thyme, pepper, Worcester sauce, tapioca starch and skimmed milk powder until well combined.
- Add ice and continue to blend until smooth and sticky
- Remove from food processor and mix in grated carrot, onion and garlic
- Form a sausage of meat paste along one edge of each wrap
- Roll them up tightly
- Beat the egg and brush over the top of each roll
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds
- Cut each roll into six pieces
- Place on a baking tray and bake for approximately 15 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown
