Beef with black bean sauce
A super tasty and healthy stir fry recipe

Method
Sauce
- Heat first measure of canola oil in a wok or large frying pan
- Add fermented black beans, garlic and ginger and sautee briefly
- Add oyster sauce, water, soy sauce, rice wine and brown sugar
- Bring to a boil
- Mix cornflour with a little water to form a paste
- Gradually stir cornflour mixture into sauce until it thickens
- Remove from heat and reserve sauce for later
Stir-fry
- Heat second measure of canloa oil in wok or large frying pan
- Add sliced beef and brown all over
- Remove beef from the wok and set aside
- Add capsicum, onion, beans, spring onion, shiitake mushrooms and carrots to wok and stir fry until cooked
- Add beef and sauce back to vegetables in the wok and heat through
- Remove from heat and serve
