The Pacific Heartbeat team is dedicated to improving the heart health of Pacific communities in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Our main focus is on the heart health of New Zealand's Pacific community because cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the primary cause of death for Pacific people, accounting for 1 in 3 Pacific deaths.

We concentrate on the heart health of New Zealand's Pacific community, promoting healthy eating, living smoke-free and staying active.

Pacific Heartbeat offer a range of courses to support Pacific communities, and people who work with Pacific peoples, to increase their skills and knowledge around food and health.
