Direct Debit Terms and Conditions

If you have paid for your Lottery order by direct debit, the following bank terms and conditions apply.

1) I Agree that Heart Foundation must give me at least 2 days’ prior notice of direct debit, including the first direct debit in a series

2) I can also agree with Heart Foundation to receive a same day notice for direct debits specifically requested by me

3) All notices must in be in writing, but can be delivered electronically, if I have agreed that with Heart Foundation

4) I can also ask my bank to reverse a direct debit up to 120 days after the direct debit if (for signing Paper direct debit authority form);    

a. I didn’t receive proper notice of the amount and date of the direct debit, or

b. I received notice but the amount or date of the direct debit is different from the amount or date on the notice

5) If you dishonour a direct debit but the Initiator retries within 5 business days of the original direct debit, I understand that Heart Foundation doesn’t need to notify me again about that direct debit

6) Should you dispute any Direct Debits initiated upon your nominated account within nine months of the first Direct Debit, then we will produce evidence of your instructions and confirmation within 5 business days.  Should we fail to do so, then your bank may reverse the Direct Debt(s). If the disputed transaction is outside of the nine-month period then the dispute will be resolved without Bank intervention (unless the transaction is the result of forgery, fraud, or error).
